Chinese Bearcoat Shar-Pei
This is Ginger. She is a Bearcoat Shar-Pei. She is just over 3 now, and she really is the best dog we could ever ask for. Ginger comes to the store everyday and has many friends and fans. Many people ask what kind of dog she is...we usually tell them that she is a Beagle. If you want information on her breeder, we can certainly provide it...they are nice farmers from Iowa. YeeHah and thanx for shopping!
As defined by the AKC: Shar-Pei's temperament is "regal, alert, intelligent, dignified, lordly, scowling, sober and snobbish, essentially independent and somewhat standoffish with strangers, but extreme in his devotion to his family. The Shar-Pei stands firmly on the ground with a calm, confident stature."
As defined by us: Ginger's temperament is "smart when concerning fashion, slobbery when concerning food, and lovey when concerning ma and pa's lap."
